Beethoven's Flemish family roots, his possible Spanish and African Blood (his skin tone led many in Vienna to refer to him as "the Spaniard" or even "the black Spaniard"), and the strong thythmic drive of his music, led classical and flamenco musicians and dancers to concieve of a new way to present Beethoven's life and passion.

Inspired by the true story of Beethoven's greatest love affair, based upon a letter he wrote to his "Immortal Beloved", we present to you a slice of his life, covering a 36 hour period during which he wrote his passionate letter in the Summer of 1812 while struggling with questions of lasting happiness, health, and musical creativity.
