Monday 7/16/12 at 630pm - Human Rights Watch invites you to an evening reception and discussion with Faraz Sanei, Researcher for the Middle East and North Africa Division of Human Rights Watch focusing on Iran and Bahrain.
Faraz Sanei is the Iran and Bahrain researcher with Human Rights Watch's Middle East and North Africa division. Faraz produces detailed reports, news releases and op-eds based on his findings, and conducts local and international advocacy surrounding human rights issues affecting Iran and Bahrain. He was previously at the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center, where he served as interim executive director, program director
and senior human rights lawyer. He was an associate at the law firm of Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix,
where he primarily worked on environmental and regulatory matters, and practiced law at several law firms
in Los Angeles. Faraz holds a doctorates in law from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in political
science from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is fluent in English and Farsi (Persian).
This is not a fundraiser and no solicitations will be made. We will serve substantial appetizers and there will
be a cash bar available.
