In the Spirit, Emily Hooper Lansana and Glenda Zahra Baker, connet stories with songs and involve their audience in this dynamic experience. Students from the Young Women Leadership Charter School perform a collective piece in response to war. This piece was developed during The Guild Complex Young Women Writers Program, an eight-week intensive workshop where the young women worked together to create, edit and direct the performance.
