New Lines Magazine is an internationally acclaimed global affairs magazine that specializes in long-form essays, political storytelling, cultural reportage, journalism of ideas and history of the present with a focus on the Global South. We began in 2020 as an online-only magazine and in 2023 launched a quarterly print edition.

New Lines is committed to journalism grounded in local perspective, produced by people with experience in and textured cultural and historical knowledge of the places they're covering - whether that's a front line in Ukraine, a city in China's Xinjiang region, a province in Syria or a town in the United States. We focus on the human element in every story and strive to tell it as authentically as possible.

Join us to celebrate our first two issues of the print edition, which will feature a panel discussion with New Lines editors and writers, followed by a reception.

Performers
