Fish Stories, a national literary journal, celebrates its fourth annual issue with music, refreshments and readings by local contributors.
Local contributors include: Simone Muench, Jennifer Harris, Naomi Cohn, (Collective IV) Lisa Stolley, Michael Sula, Gina Frangello, Maureen Seaton, Patricia McNair, Robert Klein Engler, Martin Northway (Collective III); Zoe Zolbrod, Patricia Cronin (Collective II); and many others.
Fish Stories was founded in 1994 as part of WorkShirts Writing Center, a nonprofit literary organization dedicated to fiction workshops and readings. The founders of Fish Stories are Amy G. Davis, a fiction writer, editor and teacher, who currently teaches a writing workshop at the Guild Complex, and Lee Nagan, a printing and graphic services broker. They have assembled an Editorial Board of writers and editors from around the country who work to choose diverse, lively collections of the best contemporary fiction and poetry.
