A Powerful Documentary by Serhiy Fomenko - "People of Steel," is a gripping documentary that offers a firsthand look at the front lines of Ukraine's fight for freedom. Through exclusive footage and personal interviews, the film captures the courage and resilience of Ukrainian soldiers, along with the heart-wrenching stories of their families, who continue to hope for the return of loved ones held in Russian captivity.

Based on true events, "People of Steel" tells the extraordinary story of the defenders of Mariupol, who held their ground at Azovstal against overwhelming odds. This powerful documentary exposes war crimes, torture, and the ongoing suffering of thousands of Ukrainian prisoners of war, many of whom remain in captivity. The film also documents the devastation of Mariupol, where civilians-including women and children-sought refuge in underground bunkers for months while Russian forces relentlessly bombed hospitals, homes, and humanitarian corridors.

Through interviews with freed prisoners, the families of missing soldiers, and exclusive battlefield footage, "People of Steel" serves as a powerful testament to human resilience and sacrifice. Watch the trailer and video recap of the debut from Media Center Ukraine HERE
