The film is based on real events and tells stories about the rescue of Bucha residents by Konstantin Gudauskas, a citizen of Kazakhstan who received asylum in Ukraine and lived in Bucha. Konstantin not only saved people, but also became an eyewitness to all the horrors of war and occupation.

The film won second place in the audience vote among feature films presented at the 40th Warsaw International Film Festival in October 2024. It has been released on Netflix in Poland, Ukraine, and other countries in Europe and is ranked first amongst top 10 films to watch.
