"..restlessly exuberant and unabashedly romantic" - Monica Kendrick, Chicago Reader

"Dikanda is a phenomenon, it is a fact. On the one hand furiously making us dance, on the other reflect deeply. One may say that it seems joyful but still referring to deeper layers of sensitivity. Polish but how global and universal" - Pawel Tryba, Devla Devla

DIKANDA is honest, fiery world music played straight from the heart.

"Dikanda is about this expression of death and birth, longing and loneliness. Our concerts are not something set apart from the rest of life. People in the audience may not understand what we sing, but theyll often break into tears. Or into wild dancing". - Anna Witczak, singer, accordionist and group founder

Dikanda is a world music internationally renowned band from Szczecin, Poland. In its artistic work Dikanda promotes the authenticity of style, searching for new trends, thus most of their works are original compositions.
