Playwright Mike Eserkaln’s comedy pokes fun at corporate cubicle culture - in a show without words. The show is performed in silence by five actors performing to a single audio media track. "Writer-star Mike Eserkaln’s show takes a satirical, silent-theater look at cubicle culture; sound cues from cell phones and PAs dictate the action, but the actors’ clowning is pure pantomime. Eserkaln and company are nimble, expressive performers, and there’s no shortage of entertaining moments in this production by Green Bay’s Venture Theatre. But as the cast empties the closet of office-supply props and company-politics bits, the physical humor too often falls just short" - Brian Nemtusak, Chicago Reader 9/13/07

"Five employees of a nameless corporation—The Boss, The Middle Manager, The Seasoned Associate, The New Guy and The Temp—mug their way through sketch after sketch in this exercise in silent comedy. The actors never speak, instead miming to an extended audio track of PA announcements and Muzak renditions of songs like “Hotel California” and “Beat It.” It’s not a bad concept, and some of the bits come close to inspired; Eserkaln’s escalating battle with a roll of packing tape is one highlight. That piece of business would be more enjoyable if it were unique in the show, but it’s far from it. Get Down(sized)! is ultimately hampered by its own central conceit: Without benefit of dialogue, it seems less interested in actual commentary on corporate culture than in the physical-comedy possibilities of office supplies. Sketches feel labored and spastic. Physical comedy is best when it’s tightly controlled, but Eserkaln and his cast push the wacky too hard. They also tend to repeat themselves—after the second or third slow-motion stapler war, we couldn’t help checking our watch" - Kris Vire, TimeOut Chicago 9/13/07
