Adam Zagajewski is a poet, novelist, essayist and winner of many prestigious literary prizes. His collections of poetry include Communique, Meat Shops, Letter: An Ode to Multiplicity, Solidarity and Solitude, etc. His poem “Try to Praise the Mutilated World” which was printed in The New Yorker, became rather famous after 9/11. Mr. Zagajewski has lectured at the University of Houston and is is currently a faculty member at University of Chicago’s Committee on Social Thought.
