If you were able to take a regular CD and marinate it overnight in a magazine, a radio program, and one of those cool mixed tapes you made in college, then you?d have an audio magazine, the first of its kind, title Writers? Block Party. The Premier Issue flaunts artists from coast to coast, including U.S. Poet Laureate Billy Collins, Christine Lavin, humorist Patricia Marx and many more. Contributors scheduled to perform at tonight?s even include writer David Kodeski, writer/actor Susan McLaughlin Karp, poet Michael J. Rosen, the band Starball, and musician Deb Lader.
