Jason Shinder?s books of poetry include Every Room We Ever Slept In and Among Women. He has edited several anthologies, most recently Tales From The Couch: Writers on Therapy, Birthday Poems, A Celebration, and Best American Movie Writing, of which he is the Series Editor.
His forthcoming collections include the letters between Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg. Founder and director of the YMCA National Writer?s Voice Program and YMCA of the USA Arts and Humanities, he teaches in the graduate writing program at Bennington College. Elise Paschen is the author of Infidelities (1996), winner of the Nicholas Roerich Poetry Prize. Her poems have been published in various magazines, and in numerous anthologies, including Reinventing the Enemy?s Language: Contemporary Native Women?s Writings of North America (1997). Executive director of the Poetry Society of America from 1988 to 2001, she is the co-founder of ?Poetry in Motion?, a nation-wide program which places poetry posters in subways and buses. Dr. Paschen teaches in the Writing Program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
