Poet Christopher Stewart and long time collaborator Craig Nakamoto (bass guitar) return to musical story-telling with Vox Rockwell. For the past decade, Nakamoto and Stewart have performed together on numerous poetry stages throughout Chicago and were featured on the influential poetry and music release, A Snake in the Heart (Tia Chucha Press). Rounded out by Rapheal Dussaussory on guitar, William Pritchard on drums, and Jason Grochowski on saxophone, Vox Rockwell weaves music and narrative through a span of influences across the American cultural landscape.

Mitar Mitch Covic is a bassist who has been composing and performing musical settings and performance poets for 20 years. He performed as a music director of David Hernandez and Street Sounds for nine years and has created settings for Luis Rodriguez, Rohan Preston, Louisa Loveridge, Michael Warr and Angela Shannon and others. Some of this work is documented on the spoken word/music CD "A Snake in the Heart" (published by Tia Chucha Press)
