Best Bet - "The folks behind "The Encyclopedia Show" take inspiration from an unlikely source for their showcase of visual art, comedy, music and spoken word. That's right: an encyclopedia. On Wednesday, the show uses the moon as a jumping off-point (think lunacy and eclipses) for works from local artists Anis Mojgani, Iggy Mwela, Cassie Sparkman, Rik Vasquez and others" - Julia Borcherts, Chicago Tribune's Red Eye Edition 1/5/09

10 Cool Things this week - "Local performance poets Robbie Q. Telfer and Shanny Jean Maney host "The Encyclopedia Show - Two the Moon ", a showcase of visual art, comedy, music and spoken word. Each month a topic is picked randomly from an encyclopedia, and volunteering Def Poetry Jam vets, writing professors, slam poets, stand-up comics, fiction writers, artists and performers are given assignments on that entry. Tonight's topic is the moon" - Chicago Tribune 1/5/09
