These two one-act plays from the renowned Poland playwright Slawomir Mrozek will be performed together.

"Brush up your Polski, as comedy and absurdity behind the iron curtain are explored in the early one-act play of Slawomir Mrozek: Striptease (originally published in 1961) and Immigrants (1974). CHF executive producer Eileen Mackevich explains this particular choice of playwright: 'Mrozek is part of the history of innovative 20th century theatre that blossomed under communist regimes. His sharply comic plays belong to the Theatre of the Absurd, creating their effects through illusion, distortion, and parody, which is at once innovative and yet retains elements of preservation through political and historic references”.
