Daddy Needs Me , is an exploration of what happens to a very mortal man caught inside of the media fishbowl as a result of getting everything that he could ever dream of, but realizing that it comes hand in hand with a price that he didn’t factor in. What is the result when very private events have to be played out under the ever-present ever-watchful media eye?

Daddy Needs Me deals with what happens when Keith Holland has to sit eye to eye with his daughter, try to carve out some very necessary personal solitude and truly confront his demons.

Keith Holland seemingly has everything. He’s a coveted A-list actor with all of the rights and privileges that accompany that position. Photos of Keith with his beautiful wife and adoring daughter constantly adorn the pages of popular magazines. Images of his multiple fabulous homes, expensive cars, exclusive global family vacations and glamorous outings with other celebrity friends are a mainstay almost nightly on entertainment and news programs. The media hangs on his every move and word and as a result so does the general public. Keith Holland is the quintessential celebrity at the height of his game.

Looking at the cult of celebrity from the outside, it’s easy to forget that the objects of heightened adulation and morbid fascination are real people, with real lives and very real strengths and flaws. They’re not X-men like super people, but in fact, regular, everyday, next store type people who are focused and blessed enough to be either very good at what they do, or simply in the right place at the right time. Either way, nothing can prepare them for the fine print that comes with celebrity, or the duality of the media.
