From the Runaways - Named ‘Best New Theatre of 2014’ by the Chicago Reader, The Runaways kicks off its season with Red Death, written by Aristic Director Olivia Lilley and esteemed translator Mireille Ribiere (Le Fantôme de l'Opéra published Penguin UK). A Carnegie Mellon trained director, Lilley spearheads the production with a dark and enthralling vision that blurs the line between performer and spectator. She brings the Paris Opera into an inspectors office, and dissects the tragedy of the opera ghost. The Runaways is pleased to announce Claire Sangster, lighting designer for Jackalobe Theatre, will make her Runaways debut with the production.
