New Year Open House Guild Complex

Start the New Year on the right track with new and old friends, as we gather and celebrate in the eclectic, multi-dimensional, couch-laden, speak-easy-atmosphere of the Chopin Theater. Anything could happen.

1/2/1997 - 1/2/1997

Start the New Year on the right track with new and old friends, as we gather and celebrate in the eclectic, multi-dimensional, couch-laden, speak-easy-atmosphere of the Chopin Theater.

Anything could happen. All we can ensure is that there will be food, drink, art, poetry, fiction, music, books, bowl games, and yes, enlightened conversation around the bar. Some talented person may even put fingers to the keys of the recently acquired baby grand piano. Before we leap back on to the busy path of weekly readings, book release parties, performances, art openings, panel discussions, and workshops, the Guild Complex is inviting you to chill with the staff, board, friends, and many volunteers who make this cultural juggernaut run. So show up. We only do this once a year. In between chowing down, tell us what you think about us. What you would like to see on the Chopin Stage. And if the spirit moves you, share your art, become a member, join the mighty CVA (Complex Volunteer Army), or all of the above. And if you choose to sink in a couch and simply check out the chaos, we will let you veg in peace.
