The Viberz are a poetry based performance group with a hip-hop form and sound.

Think of mixing Roots, Michelle Ndge O?Chello, and Brand New Heavies, and the Last Poets, and you will know the sound of the Viberz. They are based mainly in Champaign, Illinois. The Viberz were formed to bring together words, lyrics and songs of liberation to free the minds of their people and others. The poetical life form known as the Viberz consists of: Earth (The one who brings balance for people and others) Darius Bright (Street preacher 3rd degree); Air (The one who brings life to everything around him) Tim Harper (a.k.a. unknown); Fire (The one who brings heat when it is necessary) David Stovall (D-stove); and Water (When there is fire you must always cool it off) Tina Boayue (Nole).
