Chicago's largest arts festival featuring visual art, theater, dance, music, literary and film events takes over Wicker Park for 1 weekend only. Theater performances include:

Coiffed & Dangerous - The Sweat Girls : New monologues by The Sweat Girls address road rage, a big lie, an acupuncturist's clinic, and something at the bottom of a river in Thailand. When life seizes the Sweat Girls they seize back, and they translate the best of it to the stage.

Sincerely by Living Stage . Sincerely dramatizes the powerful and universal emotions found in letters through movement, music and text. The play is an ensemble developed performance piece based on the text of real letters.

White Devil by American Myth Theater Company . A group of wealthy young friends from Connecticut meet up at a beach house in coastal Mexico for their summer vacation, and are hit with a freak snowstorm that shows no signs of stopping. As tensions mount and the situation worsens, they desperately try to distract themselves from reality in any way they can.

The Survivors by the Rescuers The Survivors is a new work of myth, love trees, violence, a sandwich, paper airplanes and memory. The play is dedicated to the memory of Alex Lanza

The Sea Refuses No River by Intuitive Theater Company . With wooden sticks and colorful pieces of cloth, this highly talented ensemble of professional actors uses movement, music, ritual, and storytelling to spontaneously create all the performance's characters, environments, scenes, stage tableaux and story arcs. An entertaining and unique unscripted 3-Act performance features the journey of three adult siblings.

Pearl and Eloise are Dead by Double Shot Productions . Naively optimistic Pearl and her jaded companion Eloise are trapped with each other for eternity. Uno competitions, roller skating and communicating with the living via their Ouija board are just a few of the ways they attempt to make life in limbo worth living.
